Statesville, North Carolina, is one of a few cities in the Carolinas with two interstates connecting within its boundaries. I-77 runs north and south, and I-40 east and west. I-77 runs from Cleveland, Ohio to Columbia, South Carolina and I-40 runs from Wilmington, North Carolina to Barstow, California.  Statesville is less than an hour from I-85 and future interstates I-73 and I-74, and less than two hours from I-95, I-81, I-20 and I-26. US Highways 21, 64, and 70 also add to our connectivity.  This makes Statesville within one day's trucking of 65% of the U.S. population.  Greater Statesville and this outstanding transportation network put the community squarely at the Crossroads of Commerce.

The area also offers exceptional access via air.  Statesville and Troutman are less than an hour from Charlotte's and Greensboro's international airports.  The Statesville Regional Airport is undergoing significant expansion, offers convenient private plane access to a 7,000 foot runway with no landing fees, and is one mile from I-40.

Statesville also offers rail access to clients via a Norfolk-Southern main line and Alexander Railroads. The community is a part of the 3,600 mile NC track network.

The Ports of Charleston and Wilmington are both within a 4 hour drive, and the Charlotte Inland Intermodal Terminal is 45 minutes away.
